Learn to Row
Join ROW Durango for our Learn To Row class beginning in June. No experience is needed. Learn the basics of rowing from USRowing-certified coaches during this hands-on, four-session course. The first class will be held at the Recreation Center using their ergometers (ergs) to learn the basic rowing stroke, to take a swim test and to receive a brief introduction to the wonderful world of rowing! For classes two, three and four, participants should come prepared to spend time on the land and in a rowing shell at Lake Nighthorse.
When: June 7th , 9th, 11th, and 13th.
What time: The first class will meet at the Recreation Center from 9 AM to 11 AM. The rest of the classes will meet at Lake Nighthorse from 7:30 to 9:30 AM.
What you’ll need: All equipment will be provided.
What to bring: Details will be provided at the time of registration.
